Hollow Braidings

Metal braided sleevings combine high flexibility with mechanical strength. Depending on the material and braid construction, it can be used as protective sleeving, shielding braid or a functional rolled flat sleeving.

Large-diameter metal protective sleeving is used to provide mechanical protection for large-diameter lines. Its flexible braided structure protects against abrasion, impact and other external stresses without significantly restricting the movement of the line. Depending on the application, diameters of approximately 30 to 200 mm are available.

Copper sleevings are a specialised type of braided sleeving. It is commonly used for electromagnetic shielding or as a grounding braid and is manufactured for diameter ranges of approximately 2 to 70 mm. Bare or tinned copper wires with diameters from 0.10 to 0.50 mm are used. Variants made from silver-plated or nickel-plated copper wire are available upon request.

Rolled flat sleevings are used as flexible pulling and guiding elements in industrial systems. They are used, for example, to pull components through painting, coating or conveying systems and guide them safely. The flat-rolled braid structure combines high flexibility with good mechanical strength.
